discussion list is for those living within the Barony of Unser Hafen in the
Kingdom of the Outlands of the Society for Creative Anachronism, to discuss
topics of interest or relay information relevant to the SCA.
The
Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.
The
SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating
the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World"
consists of 18 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around
the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance,
attend events which may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops,
dancing, feasts, and more. Our "royalty" hold courts at which they
recognize and honor members for their contributions to the group.
Kingdom
of the Outlands
The
Kingdom of the Outlands is the twelfth of the Laurel Kingdoms of the Society
for Creative Anachronism, Inc (SCA). The Outlands includes the states of New
Mexico, most of Colorado, parts of Wyoming and Nebraska, and El Paso and Hudspeth
counties of Texas.
The Kingdom of Artemisia
The Kingdom of Artemisia consists of Utah, Montana, southern Idaho and the parts
of Colorado and Wyoming that are west of the Continental Divide.
The
Barony of One Thousand Eyes
The Barony of One Thousand Eyes covers most of south-east Idaho, from the Utah
border in the south to Salmon in the north, and east from Burley to the Idaho/Wyoming
border, and is in the heart of Artemisia. The major cities in the barony
are Pocatello and Idaho Falls.
The
Kingdom of Northshield
The Kingdom of Northshield includes Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba, North and
South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the western half of the Upper Peninsula
of Michigan.
The
Kingdom of Calontir
The Kingdom of Calontir covers most of Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and
a touch of Arkansas (Fayetteville).
The
Kingdom of Atenveldt
The Kingdom of Atenveldt is the modern state of Arizona and is the host of Estrella
War.
